Post Did backer surveys ever go out?

So, I've checked my inbox and Kickstarter activity feed (which redirects me to this site). I have no survey email from the Béthorm Kickstarter which I know I backed. According to the Kickstarter page, the estimated delivery date is set for August 2014, which we are fast approaching.

So, my question is: did surveys ever go out to Kickstarter backers? And if not, when should I exxpect one to land in my inbox?

Kickstarter recommends *not* sending out backer surveys until just before the backer rewards are ready to ship. This is because the longer the delay between collecting survey info and shipping the backer rewards, the greater the risk of backers changing their address and missing their shipments.

Since the backer rewards are scheduled to ship in August, you shouldn't expect the surveys until the last week in July *at the earliest*, and possibly not until the third week in August.

Hey, thanks for the reply. It's now the end of the first week of August, so I'm assuming you're still assembing rewards and all that...which is great.

I'll circle back to here in two weeks if I don't see a survey by then. I'm glad I found this Kickstarter. It sounded (and still sounds) interesting -- I was just concerned as the other Kickstarters I had backed had sent out surveys much quicker than this one. Glad to know that there's a reason for that, and I understand the concern over people changing their mailing addresses.

The surveys went out this morning. Only backers who pledged for physical items will receive a survey; PDFs and other electronic media will be delivered to your email address.

I got an email from Kickstarter with text:

"Bethorm: the Plane of Tekumel RPG needs some info from you to deliver the reward you selected on Kickstarter. Please respond now."

However, when I click on the green "Respond now" button, nothing happens. A couple days latter, Kickstarter sent out a reminder email, and clicking on that button does nothing as well.

Since the email comes from no-reply@kickstarter.com, how do I get them the information they are asking for?

You're the second person to mention this problem. I'm looking into it. Don't worry, it'll still be a while before anything gets sent out.

Okay Don, I have a workaround.

Forward the Kickstarter survey email to me: unigames@prismnet.com

I will click the button, copy the URL of the page it sends me to. and email that URL back to you. Then you should be able to simply click on the URL or paste it into your browser. This worked for somebody else who had that problem.

Thanks, Jeff. Quick question: if we only did the PDF, when should we expect to see the email in our inboxes, and from what email address? (My email provider has a robust spam filter so I'd like to know what to look for). I assume that Kickstarter automatically gives the project owner backer email addresses, but it's been a while since I've read what KS gives project owners so I can't remember for sure.

The PDFs will come via a link to DropBox. I *think* DropBox will send the invitations through our email address unigames@prismnet.com.

So I did a search in my inbox (Gmail) for both Dropbox and your email address and the latest thing I have is from July when I signed up for the forums. (And yes, this email inbox is the one I have linked to Kickstarter). Have the PDFs been sent yet or am I just overexcited to get my hands on my copy?

(And yes, I checked the Spam folder too.)
