In episode 2, the players left the Sákbe road - turning south at the town of Uréltlu with the intention of taking a cross-country shortcut across the Plain of Clay Toys.

They paid a small fee for 'collection basket rental' and then set out - almost immediately stumbling upon a cluster of many of the clay balls left in this area by the ancients. Their luck (i.e., astonishing Search skill checks) continued for the next several days, and their baskets became overloaded with the things. Curious, they cracked open a few - finding a wide assortment of little trinkets, including an amulet which may actually be valuable.

They were 'attacked' by a swarm of Kurukú along the way, which grabbed handfuls of their possessions (including some of the newly-discovered baubles) and ran off. The players tracked them to their lair and exterminated them, reclaiming their goods and finding a serviceable suit of metal armor (which appears to have come from a Tsolyáni deserter from the recent war with Yán Kór).

After a 4 day trek, they arrived outside the town of Djáin.
