Ah, well. It's hard for me to take a review seriously which begins with a snarky comment about how the game "had to go off to the 'Tekumel Foundation' for approval". As if there were something wrong with that!

Never mind. If you didn't like that fellow's review, the thing to do is go post a review of your own somewhere 🙂

Personally, I would love to see a "Travellers guide to Tékumel" or "Encyclopaedia Tekumelica", a book in which basic information on Tékumel would be given in quite short but comprehensive articles, similar to those written by Barker about temples and deities. Each major race, deity, and empire (both ancient and modern) could be described in ten pages or so.

You can find such articles from DriveThruRPG, but I have a gut feeling that only a fraction of all existing articles have been published there (for example, only seven gods out of ten are available). Also, it is quite silly to buy every article separately when you could have all in one. Such a book would be hundreds of pages long, but who cares. Reading is fun! 😉

The Tekumel Foundation is working hard to make all of that material available, starting with getting the previously published source material back in print but also including never-before-seen material in their vast archive of Prof. Barker's files.

Is there some kind of schedule, or even just a list of what is coming?

I expect the Foundation will post that information on their blog as soon as they are able: http://blog.tekumelfoundation.org/

"The Man of Gold" just went on sale for Kindle, Nook and some other obscure (to me) ereader. I just bought my copy at Amazon.

The Tékumel Foundation just announced that The Man of Gold, the first of Professor Barker’s five published Tékumel novels, is now available as an ebook. A print-on-demand version "will be available shortly". They also announced that the second novel, Flamesong (my personal favorite!) will be available later this year.
