Just ordered mine, sounds like it's going to be even better than vol 1

Yup, it is even better than the first issue! An almost canonologicaly map of Sokatis plus key and partial underworld, with more to come. What more do you want? Well more Patrons, of course. Not forgetting an adventure and a EPT rules addon. The trouble is that it's only 30 pages all told, but it does seem to be coming out frequently.

Please excuse this minor quibble:

The Tekumel Foundation tells me that the fanzine has not sought their "Approved for Tekumel" seal of approval. There's no controversy there; the Foundation is very happy with James Maliszewski. It just means that the contents must be understood as non-canon.

The Foundation reserves the appellation "Official Tekumel" (meaning really, truly canon) for material produced by Prof. Barker himself. UNIgames submits all of our products to the Foundation for review and approval, a process which takes time and can result in them demanding changes. In exchange for that, we get to claim the title "Approved For Tekumel", which can be considered "almost canonological" and which entitles us to a certain level of bragging rights for having gone the extra mile to make our stuff as authentic as possible. It also means that the Foundation will not approve any future Tekumel product which conflicts with material we've created, unless of course it's found in their huge collection of stuff that was written by Barker himself (in which case *we*will go back and bring our material into line).

*Probably* TETV's publisher has chosen to forego the approval process out of the need to be able to move quickly. For a fanzine, that would make perfect sense. The 'zine's contents are fun and well thought out and eminently usable. Just *not* "almost canonological", in the sense that 'official' material written by Barker or 'approved' material from outside authors may eventually appear which overrules the material found in TETV.

Nevertheless, I'll be buying every issue from now on 🙂

Sorry, when I said "almost canonologicaly" I didn't mean what you interpreted it as meaning. My bad for poor choice of words. The last thing I want to do is get involved in the arguments about what's approved or not.

Issue #3 continues Sokatis (underworld). It has a nice themed EPT character sheet as well - less usable for Bethorm, but nifty. Nice grab back of material.
