Post Hmmm...rules for Encumbrance and Weight?

Ok wise ones, I have pored over the rules several times and I can't for the life of me find any rules for Encumbrance in general, or the weight of armor and weapons!

Am I missing something (other than, possibly-we don't need no stinkin' rules for encumbrance or weight?) 😯

Here is the system I use with Basic Role-Playing modified for Bethorm. It's inspired by Lamentations of the Flame Princess OSR clone.

Take the value column of your Physique stat. (Same as your base hit points.) This is how many items you can carry and remain unenqumbered. You may carry twice that amount at max, but if you are encumbered, you must halve your movement speed and initiative. You will also get -5 modifier to skills such as Dodge, Climb, etc.

Armour could take one or more items, depending on coverage and material. Small items such as coins or arrows count as 1/100 of an item, so for example character with Physique score of 10 could carry as many as 2,000 coins.

One more thing: you could also include advantages and disadvantages to raise or lower maximum encumbrance by three.
