Here’s a sneak peek at another section of our upcoming Kurt Hills Map & Gazetteer for Bethorm! This map section attaches to the east side of the Katalal Map.
The full Kurt Hills map will consist of 36 areas this size, plus descriptions. We’ll be launching a Kickstarter to fund the completion of this massive project in a few weeks, so stay tuned!
I still haven’t launched a Kickstarter to fund it (and won’t ’til after the holidays), but Manda and I are hard at work on the Kurt Hills Atlas project. 15 of the 46 hexes are mapped, and gazetteer entries are completed for 4 of them. I just finished mapping hex 3613, with the City of Hauma. Fun! I’ll try to post some more preview pics soon.
UNIgames had a great weekend at NTRPGCon, and we sold copies of Bethorm to a bunch of cool people. If you’re one of them, welcome aboard! Don’t forget to register on our forum page, and explore the tabs on this site (above) for free goodies and links to more awesome stuff!

High & Dry, the introductory adventure for Bethorm: the Plane of Tekumel RPG, is coming soon as a PDF through RPGNow and DriveThruRPG. It’s 15 pages long, containing 9 illustrations (including a color cover) and 3 color maps! Here’s a preview of the cover art:
We were interviewed in January at ChupacabraCon by Gamer’s Tavern. Topics include Cavemaster, Bethorm and more! Click here to listen.
This simple kit allows you to build as many straight, 10”-long Sákbe Road sections as you desire. Great for 28mm tabletop adventures on Tékumel! The kit also includes optional ramps (for getting onto or off of the Sákbe Road), and stairways for climbing up and down its levels. As an added bonus, we’ve included a copy of our popular “Foam Core Crafts for Beginners”!
We’re bringing three finished Sákbe Road sections to OwlCon in Houston this weekend. They’ll feature prominently in our Béthorm events!
The model pieces are finished. Now we’re working on the accompanying instructions. Here’s a sneak peek:
Here’s a photo of the prototype of our upcoming Sákbe road model. You’ll print out an 8-piece pattern, and use it to cut out the parts from a standard foamcore sheet. The whole process takes about half an hour. In the final version the pattern pieces with have a full-color texture – so you’ll glue them to the foamcore before cutting them out. The result is wonderfully sturdy, and looks great on the tabletop!
And here’s a finished example! The pattern pieces are printed in color on standard 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper, then glued to black foamcore before cutting. We’re very pleased with the results! Next we need to write up the instructions, and submit the final product to the Tekumel Foundation for approval. The kit should be available for download from RPGNow within a month.
Four more underworld creature paper minis (an add-on from the Kickstarter project) are now available to the general public! Find them in the “Shop” tab at the top of this page!
