The new Dlikken drawing is now on DeviantArt: http://fav.me/d7h49hu

I'm still typing in the edits from the magic system tweak. After that, I've got a list of other little corrections...

The new Epéng drawing is now on DeviantArt: http://fav.me/d7ha5d7

Yesterday's other progress:
1) Added comments clarifying Bethorm's tabletop scale, including suggestions for converting from the Pocket Universe system's 'Size' stat to a suggested tabletop base size.
2) Clarified the way that the use of lead sling pellets increases sling damage
3) Began a review of spell casting times, because casting times tended to go up at higher spell levels in Prof. Barker's 'Swords & Glory' spell descriptions, and my elimination of some weak and/or intermediate spell levels tended to eliminate the spells with shorter casting times. I noticed that Barker himself toned down some of the casting times in Gardasiyal, so I'm using that as a guide. I've gotten through all of the spells up through the Temple spells of the gods - only the Temple spells of the cohorts remain.

Next up: finishing the casting time review, more refinements to the document, and the new Étla drawing.

Today's major task: re-working the treasure tables.

Up til now, Bethorm has incorporated a version of Prof. Barker's treasure tables from Gardasiyal. They're an excellent indication of the types of treasures that he considered appropriate for Tekumel.

Today I re-worked those tables to take the number and strength of the defeated opponents into account. So now, smaller numbers of weaker creatures will tend to carry (or guard) a lot less treasure than larger numbers of tougher creatures.

I'm off to finish the new Etla drawing now.

(Thanks for following along, folks! The estimated delivery date is August).

Yesterday's major task: a complete cleanup & re-vamp of the magical weapons & armor portion of the treasure section. Gardasiyal (my primary source for this material) had a few awkward omissions; I went all the way back to original EPT to plug those holes, then re-organized everything to improve clarity, and I also wrote a bunch of examples. I also just barely got started on the new Hlu'un drawing.

I need to take today off to get the prints for the backers on my previous project signed, collated, and packed for shipping.

Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend.

On Sunday I finished my research into the effects of Tsolyani culture on skill selection. The result is a set of loose guidelines, accompanied by a broad social classification for each skill (Low, Medium, High, or Any).

Today's goals:

* Type in the results of my research on social statuses of skills
* Update spell descriptions to work with the Pocket Universe area/size rules
* Fix the treasure tables to use only d10s
